Don’t lose your patients!

Believe it or not signage is a crucial part to a patient customer experience. You quickly lose a client confidence if they can’t find their way round easily.

Wayfinding directional signage is important to inform people where to go in the unfamiliar surroundings.

When considering wayfinding signage, it’s good to look at the following aspects which are based on human behaviour

  • Do not make people have to think
  • Create a comprehensive, clear and consistent visual communication system with a concise message.
  • Show only what is needed
  • Show information which is relevant to the space, location or navigation path.
  • Remove excessive information
  • Remove unnecessary elements to create a clear visual environment.

When designing your wayfinding signage system Durleigh will consider the following:

  • Typography
  • Type height
  • Icons
  • Material Choice
  • The signs need to be straight forward and displayed in a consistent order.
