Proven Manufacturing Method

Our experience with the braille raster system is second to none.  Using a program designed by ourselves, the substrate panel is pre-drilled with the braille text.  Computer aiding and checking ensures 100% accurate positioning of each hole.  A clear ‘ball’ is then inserted and pressure fitted into position ensuring the correct depth for the braille reader.

Tactile text (raised text) is then added for the aid of both blind and visually impaired people.  Our computer aided software can cut tactile text as small as a 16mm cap height, any less than this then the user would struggle to distinguish the text.  Finally signs are fitted with a widget locator, this helps the impaired to locate the braille text.

All Braille and Tactile signs are made to order, this enables us to manufacture to your exact requirements. 

We can manufacture signs to the majority of RAL, BS and Pantone colours so colour matching and corporate standards are easily achievable.  We also offer a full colour artwork visual and design service for customers so they know exactly how their job will look upon completion.
